This policy explains what personal information REITEK collects when you use reitek.shop, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
REITEK is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

Information we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give it), the items you buy and your order history.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login email and a securely hashed password.
- Messages: what you send us by email or through the contact form.
- Payment information: card and wallet payments are handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as card type and the last four digits, never your full card number.
- Technical information: the information needed to run the shop securely, such as your IP address, browser type and the cookies described in our cookie policy.

We do not send marketing emails and we do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Our fulfilment supplier, which receives your name, delivery address, phone number (if given) and the items ordered so it can pack and send your parcel.
- Delivery carriers, which receive the details needed to deliver your parcel and send tracking updates.
- Payment providers that process payments at checkout, such as Stripe and PayPal when they are offered. They act as independent controllers for some purposes, including fraud prevention, and have their own privacy notices.
- Service providers that host the website and send emails on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law, for example HMRC or the police.
International transfers
Orders are fulfilled by a supplier that is usually located outside the UK, so your name, delivery address, phone number (if given) and order details are sent to that supplier so it can pack and send your parcel. This transfer is necessary to perform our contract with you. Some of our service providers, such as payment providers, also operate internationally under their own data transfer safeguards. Email us if you would like more information about where your data is processed.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year of the order, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Customer service messages: up to 2 years after the matter is closed.
- Accounts: until you ask us to close your account, apart from order records we must keep.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email support@reitek.shop and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would appreciate the chance to help first.
Age
Our shop is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
